Working with the Core Curriculum developed by the Utah State Board of Education. Early Light Academy PE has created a unique blend of curriculum combined with current theories of kinesiology, exercise physiology and social interaction. These 3 elements are laced within a friendly, encouraging, challenging and successful environment that Early Light Academy is known for. Our Mission statement is as follows:
Early Light Academy Physical Education emphasizes success and growth through individual challenges, interaction, cooperative accomplishments and problem solving while maintaining an undertone of life long fitness in a non-threatening environment.

The grading procedures can be found following the links on the right hand side of the screen or by going to each individual grade page. Homework, class assignments and projects will also be posted on each grade page to aid students during the year.
There is a dress code required for Physical Education class. Each student is required to wear a grey t-shirt (school appropriate logo is accepted), dark blue shorts and gym appropriate sneakers (any sole color is allowed). These rules also apply for cold weather clothing.


Another requirement for 7th,8th and 9th grade Physical Education is the "Fitness Test Journal" (7th) and "
